House prices in Jersey have jumped by £97,000 to £634,000 in the past year.
The Statistics Jersey report found house prices increase from £537,000 in 2020, which is an 18% jump.
This is compared to Gurnsey, where the average property costs £554,000.
One-bedroom flats and three-bedroom houses saw their mean price increase compared to the previous quarter. All other property types saw a decrease in their mean price compared to the previous quarter.
According to the report, “overall housing market activity, on a rolling four-quarter basis, was 1% higher than in the previous quarter and 40% higher than in the corresponding quarter of 2020.”
